And old family photos can connect you with ancestors you never knew. But pictures don’t last forever and can fade and deteriorate, losing the rich colors and details that made them unique.
The only way to truly preserve these precious moments in time is to scan photos to digital. At ScanDigital, we’re committed to helping people relive joyous and nostalgic moments, again and again. In fact, we love doing this so much, we’ve transformed more than 50 million fragile memories into forever formats.
All images are scanned and edited by hand. This includes cropping, rotation, color correction, and red-eye removal. You can choose between Premium and Expert resolution, depending on your needs.
Our standard photo scanning service converts photos to digital format for 35mm negatives, color slides and photos up to 8” x 10” in size. We know people often have pictures of all sizes, so we charge the same per photo price for scanning prints 8” x 10” or smaller. No worries if you have larger photos – we can convert larger prints to digital for an additional cost. See our Special Media for more details on scanning larger photos and formats.
FINALIZING YOUR ORDER
When doing your final check out, you'll be able to select whether you want Ground or Express round-trip shipping as well as the format for your digitized media (flash drive or hard drive). After receiving your order, we will send your Secure Shipping Kit, you pack it and return it to us, and the magic begins! Learn more about our photo scanning services here.

From housing your order in barcoded containers to scanning all materials by hand, to recording on video the unpacking and packing of your order, your priceless materials receive the utmost care, just as if they were our own family memories.
CONCIERGE SERVICE – Our Indiana-based, on-site customer service team is ready to support you at every point. We pride ourselves in providing an outstanding customer experience and are privileged to be entrusted with customers’ memories.
QUALITY: Your tapes are digitized on professional grade equipment and reviewed by three technicians through our process. We deliver these high quality video files back to you via Digital Download links available in your personal account, and on a USB drive or hard drive should you select one at order placement.
TAPE T.L.C.: We inspect each tape and handle tape repairs as needed. Our team works to address tracking issues so that you get the best possible transfer.
UPDATES: Throughout the process, you receive e-mail updates when we receive your order, when processing begins, and when your order is completed and on its way back to you. From the moment the order leaves your hands to the moment it is returned, our Essential Tracker system knows exactly where your order is located.
USA: Your items are received and processed in our industry-leading facility in Fishers, Indiana, just north of Indianapolis. All of our employees work in this facility every day to ensure the best experience possible, seamless work and the highest quality service.
